Being an estate agent isn’t always glamorous. Sure, there’s the thrill of finding dream homes, but let’s be real—most days are a mix of bureaucracy, paperwork, and the constant hunt for new properties. It’s not exactly edge-of-your-seat stuff.
But every so often, life throws a curveball, and the ordinary turns into something extraordinary.
Take last week, for instance. I was at a luxury property we manage next to the coast in the charming town of Torre Delle Stelle, getting ready to welcome some guests for a two-week rental. Everything was going as planned—until it wasn’t.
Right in the middle of the garden tour, we found ourselves with some unexpected company: a family of wild boar!
They weren’t aggressive (thankfully!), but they were very enthusiastic about digging up the lawn, probably hunting for some tasty snacks buried in the soil. And honestly? They were adorable! Watching their little tails wag as they snuffled around made the whole situation oddly heartwarming.
