By Air
Budget airlines Ryanair and EasyJet are responsible for running the many of the direct flights to Sardinia. There are, however, other airlines like Meridiana, British Airways, Lufthansa, KLM, Austrian, Delta Air Lines and Wizz Air.
Sardinia has three major airports:
- Cagliari Elmas Airport (Sardinia’s Capital city in the south)
- Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (North-East)
- Alghero Fertilia Airport (North-West near Sassari)
By Boat/Ferry
Major ferry ports are in Cagliari, Olbia and Porto Torres
Cagliari: Ferries routes from Rome, Naples and Palermo.
Olbia: Ferries routes from Rome, Genoa and Livorno
Porto Torres: Ferries routes from Corsica, Marseille & Barcelona
