About Our Home

The interior of the villa offers all the comfort you need for a relaxing vacation. The sleeping area includes a cozy double bedroom and a small bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for children. Upon request, baby essentials such as a crib and a high chair are available. The double bedroom also has an extra overhead bed, allowing up to five guests to stay comfortably.

The true gem of the house is the spacious panoramic veranda, which serves as an open-air living space. Here, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue—perfect for enjoying outdoor dinners with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a glimpse of the sea behind the trees. There is also a covered outdoor shower with hot water. This is the perfect spot to relax in the shade and take in the scenery, with added privacy thanks to the curtains.

The living area, though small, features a fully equipped kitchenette, ideal for preparing delicious meals.

The villa is an end-unit townhouse located on a terraced hillside. The house is on a single level, accessible via a flight of stairs leading from the road to the veranda. Below the veranda, there is a reserved parking space, and the main entrance opens directly onto this area.

Location

Our home is located in a quiet area, just a 3-minute walk from the crystal-clear beach of Solanas, near the rocky areas. The beach features three kiosks where you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as small boats like canoes and surfboards. Imagine having breakfast with a sea view, enjoying fresh seafood for lunch, and sipping an aperitif at sunset—perhaps even staying for dinner!

For those who prefer a more natural beach experience, there are large stretches of free beach. There’s space for everyone!

In the summer, a fresh food market is held once a week right in front of the church. You can find fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, pastries, and more. In August, the town square comes alive with live music performances and stalls selling delicious sweets and other local specialties. On Ferragosto (August 15th), the beach fireworks display is an event you won’t want to miss!

When it comes to dining out, there are several restaurants and pizzerias, including takeaway options. One of the most renowned seafood restaurants is “Da Barbara.” Additionally, a newly installed ATM makes withdrawals easy and convenient.

All essential services are available: bars, a tobacconist, a mini-market, a wine shop, a butcher with a rotisserie and deli, and a pharmacy near the church. Solanas is a small village with year-round residents, so you’ll always find what you need.

But that’s not all—the area boasts numerous beautiful beaches to explore, including Porto Sa Ruxi, Villasimius, Torre delle Stelle, and the Capo Ferrato marine reserve. This makes our home an ideal choice for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty.

If you love hiking, you can join Daniele from Solanas Adventurers for an incredible panoramic trek from Solanas to Porto Sa Ruxi, passing by the Spanish Tower of Capo Boi. The Saracen Trail offers breathtaking sea views, with colors ranging from turquoise to deep blue and pink hues at sunset.
